Course Overview
Day 1
Theatre Session & Lectures
- Live theatre sessions showcasing both uniportal and subxiphoid VATS approaches, performed by surgeons at Royal Papworth Hospital
- Interactive lectures covering surgical techniques, patient selection, operative planning, and complication management.
- Networking dinner with faculty and participants – an opportunity to discuss cases, exchange ideas, and build collaborative relationships.
Day 2
Cadaver Lab (AM Session)
- Hands-on cadaveric training focusing on both uniportal and subxiphoid techniques at a Cambridge based facility.
- Delegates will be guided through the uniportal and subxiphoid thoracic approaches, receiving direct supervision and technical instruction from Papworth’s thoracic surgery faculty.
